The Directors

Doug Laird started his engineering trade in the Royal New Zealand Navy. He left the Navy to further advance his career with Tip Top. Doug has worked in the food and beverage industry for over 25 years.

Steve McVey started his engineering training in Auckland and worked in both New Zealand and Australia. He spent 18 years with Tip Top before Focus was formed. Steve has worked in the food and beverage industry for over 35 years.

Our Experience

During the last 20 years, Doug and Steve have worked primarily with capital projects, including Maintenance, Ammonia and Refrigeration. They both have a strong and reliable representation in the Health and Safety sector of the business.
